Welcome to the website of the 2023 Conference of the UNESCO Chair of the University of Strasbourg "Journalistic and media practices. Between globalization and cultural diversity."
The upcoming conference will take place in Geneva, Switzerland, from 23 to 24 March 2023.
It will focus on:
Social Media and Digital Services
Business, Innovation, Sustainability
The aim is, on one hand, to map the current state of research, and on the other hand to contribute to knowledge exchange, linking theory with practice.
The International Symposium, an Expert Meeting, is bringing together university professors, researchers, politicians, as well as representatives of the business sector and civil society.
The Symposium is jointly organized by the UNESCO Chair of the University of Strasbourg “Journalistic and media practices – Between globalization and cultural diversity” and the University Centre Universitaire d'Informatique (CUI) of the University of Geneva.
It also associates two other UNESCO Chairs: ‘UNESCO Chair for Telemedicine and Multidisciplinary Teaching’ and 'UNESCO Chair on Language Policies for Multilingualism'. It also associates the UNESCO African Office of Addis Ababa.
